🔇 No Sound from Device

 

If your phone, tablet, or computer isn’t making any sound, follow these steps to troubleshoot audio issues.

 

Step 1: Check Volume Settings

 

  • Make sure your device’s volume is turned up.
  • Test sound by playing a video or ringtone.
  • Try using the physical volume buttons, if available.

 

Step 2: Look for a Mute Switch

 

Some devices (like iPhones and tablets) have a mute switch on the side — make sure it's not turned on.

 

Step 3: Disconnect Bluetooth

 

Your sound might be playing through connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Turn off Bluetooth to test if sound returns.

 

Step 4: Restart Your Device

 

A restart can fix temporary glitches affecting audio playback.
