💡 My Smart Bulbs Aren’t Responding

If your smart bulbs are unresponsive in the app or to voice commands, try these steps to get them back online.

Step 1: Power Cycle the Bulb

  • Turn the bulb off for 10 seconds, then back on.
  • If it blinks or flashes, it may have reset or reconnected.

Step 2: Check Wi-Fi and App

  • Ensure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Open the app and see if the bulb appears online.
  • If not, try refreshing or logging out/in of the app.

Step 3: Reset the Bulb

Most smart bulbs reset by turning them on and off in a certain pattern (e.g. 3 times on/off). Check the instructions that came with your bulb or search for the reset method for your brand.

Step 4: Re-add the Bulb

Go to your smart bulb app, remove the bulb if listed, and add it again as a new device. Make sure Bluetooth and Location are enabled during setup.
